For AstraZeneca we are now looking for an analytical chemist for a consultant assignment from 2014-02-01 until 2014-12-31 with possible extension.

Publiceringsdatum2013-12-03Dina arbetsuppgifterYou will work in a team of ten analytical chemists who's main responsibilities are to purify compounds and separate isomers by chromatographic techniques as part of early drug discovery. The Team is working closely together with synthetic chemists in the Medicinal Chemistry Departments.
You're main tasks will be:
• Analytical and preparative chromatography of samples made in-house
• Chemical purity
• Isomeric purity
• Mass determination
• LC-MS and SFC-MS determination of chemical and isomeric purity
• Liquid handling robotics, vacuum centrifuges and rotary evaporators
The tasks will also include automation using balance and liquid handling robotics. Over time the work can shift between all or some of these tasks.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
You have a Bachelor degree in chemistry or related competence and are experienced in analytical chemistry with focus on liquid chromatography and experience of mass spectrometry, SFC, preparative chromatography, organic chemistry or automation.
You are selfgoing, communicative, analytical and structured.
