hela Sverige We are looking for an Analytical Chemist with interest in biology, to our laboratory in Perstorp. You will work with activities in the analytical chemistry field, mostly chromatography and with application studies on animal feed and ensilage, where knowledge in microbiology is important. There will be much "hands-on" work. Our tasks origin from projects, customers and technical support to other functions of the company. The work also includes documentation, reporting, instrument maintenance and contacts within and outside our department.
The main responsibility for R&D is to contribute to the innovation process within the Perstorp Group and also to support business in all types of customer relations. As a member of our analytical group you will contribute in research and development activities of our existing and future applications, products and processes.
Work assignment
• Plan and perform studies on our development preservative products that will prevent microbiology activities in feed
• Project work aiming for better gut health in domestic animal achieved by additives in feed
• Chromatography analysis on different kind of samples coming to the laboratory, where you will be a member of our chromatography team. It is merit if you have knowledge in structure elucidation with mass detection.
The position is located at Perstorp R&D Centre in Perstorp, South of Sweden
You have an academic degree, preferably M.Sc, in chemistry or biology with both analytical chemistry and microbiology or equivalent learnings. Experience from laboratory work improves you qualification. You must be familiar with chromatographic techniques. We think you have an open-mind attitude and a collaborative way of working. You must like to be service-minded and to work in a quality-conscious way. Good communication skills, both verbally and written, in English is important since we work in a global environment. Knowledge in Swedish is a merit.
