We are looking for analysts and interns for EY's Technology Corporate Finance team - one of Sweden's most active M&A advisors in the tech sector. We currently offer:
internship during the fall of 2024 and spring of 2025 for 10-20 weeks.
analyst positions starting in August 2024 or January 2025

The opportunity
EY Corporate Finance is a leading advisor to companies, entrepreneurs, and investors in M&A and capital raises in the mid-market segment. EY's Technology Corporate Finance team specializes in advising actors in the technology sector, e.g., B2B software-, data- and information services-, cybersecurity-, and computer gaming companies. We are a growing team of 20 people in Sweden, with a global team of 200+ people in 30+ countries. We are looking for driven individuals with an interest in Investment banking/Corporate finance/M&A who want to grow and develop within our team. The work takes place in a challenging and developing environment with assignments that require close attention to detail and an ability to handle heavy workloads.

Your key responsibilities
In your role as an analyst/intern, you will from the start play an active role in M&A transactions and capital raising, pitches, and sales work and gradually increase your level of responsibility. You will be based at our office in Stockholm and work full-time. Occasional national and international travel may be required. Possible tasks include:
Participation in the full transaction cycle (from pitch work to deal execution)
Company and industry analysis
Target screening
Business valuation
Financial modeling
Information gathering and preparation of various presentations
Sales work and participation in dialogues with current and potential clients
Business development

What we look for
We expect candidates to have a genuine interest in the financial sector and a desire to build a career in Investment Banking/Corporate Finance/M&A. Candidates should also have strong analytical and social skills, be an energetic team player, and be capable of delivering high-quality results under short deadlines. We also wish that you meet the following criteria:
Relevant education with strong academic results
For internship: Ongoing MSc in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering and Management, or other relevant education - alternatively, ongoing BSc with documented interest in M&A/Investment Banking (jobs, courses, or other engagements)
For full-time analyst: Ongoing or completed MSc in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering and Management or other relevant education. A BSc only can be accepted in exceptional cases
Excellent communication skills in both Swedish (or another Scandinavian language) and English, both written and spoken
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
Previous experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Transaction Services, Strategy Consulting, or similar is meritorious
