Job description
We are looking for an analyst and consultant for the European market to expand our Client Services team. You will be based at Trade Extension' head office in Uppsala, Sweden with some travel across Europe (up to 20% of time). You must be qualified to work in the EU to be considered as a candidate.
Your main responsibilities will be to
• Become expert in the use of TESS, the Trade Extensions optimization platform.
• Implement data collection and optimization projects based on large and sometimes unstructured data sets as well as analyse and report results according to customer requests and specifications.
• Support customers, either directly as a project consultant or as back-office support to the rest of the Client Services team, in the design, execution and analysis of their projects.
• Man the client support desk for TESS part time (maximum 20% of time).
• Provide technical sales support and give demonstrations of TESS.
• Train and inspire clients on how to use TESS to leverage their business and processes.
You will work with and contribute to the further development of our client offering, while working with some of the world's largest organizations across multiple industries. Skills and Experience
• A university degree in engineering, economics or business with a significant analytical content. Knowledge in areas like Operations Research, Statistics, Optimization, Game/Auction Theory, Mathematics, or Computer Science are particularly useful.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Expert level use of Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to multi-task and manage challenging time-lines.
• Experience of project management in international and analytically complex projects.
• People and communication skills to be able to understand customers' needs and support them.
• Ability to work with others to become an integral part of a high-performance multi-cultural team.
• Fluent in English and proficient in Swedish. Other languages are desirable but not required.
• Knowledge of sourcing and supply chain processes is a benefit but strong analytical ability is the key requirement.
