We are looking for a new member to the Analytics team, working with predictive modelling in credit risk and other related areas.
We are specifically looking for someone who likes to apply math, statistics and programming to make sense of data, and to use that knowledge to create valuable products and insights. In this role you will develop and maintain our data-driven models and act as an analytical expert for the rest of the organisation.
The Analytics team are responsible for UC's analytical and predictive products. We help our customers make better credit risk decisions by predicting future payment problems with a precision that is hard to beat anywhere in the world. This is partly thanks to our large database with unique insights into credit behavior, but also our long experience in the field. We would love to see you coming in with new eyes! The job includes plenty of other analytical work and there will be opportunities to work with other types of predictive models and machine-learning systems.

Your background
We are looking for a curious person who enjoys learning new things. You probably have a Master diploma that contains a fair amount of math. Examples can be Statistics, Engineering, Applied Math or Economics with a large portion of math. You have probably worked with credit risk analysis or similar, for a short time or a long time - we will adapt the position to your background.

- You have a high analytical capacity and you are comfortable solving quantitative problems
- You are comfortable in using programming as a tool in problem solving
- You are able to explain complicated things and communicate them to different groups of people
The perfect match
- Experience in credit risk analysis
- Experience in SAS, R or Python
- Experience in applying statistics to real-world problems
- Experience in predictive modelling, machine learning or data science
