IKEA is the largest Home furnishing company in the world. We like to see ourselves as "Different with a meaning": We are here to side with the many people, especially those with thin wallets and big dreams. At IKEA, you grow as a person and as a professional.
Ingka is the biggest IKEA franchisee with almost 400 stores across 32 markets. Each year we welcome more than 4.3 billion visits to IKEA.com. Ingka Digital delivers the IKEA of tomorrow - today. Our most important mission is to "Create an excellent omnichannel experience". And for this, we need You!
Who you are
We are looking for positive, humanistic and curious problem solvers, who love data and believe in the impact it can have on the business and the future of IKEA. Together, we'll inspire and enable Ingka to create magical, digital experiences for IKEA customers and co-workers.
We would love to talk with you, if you recognise yourself in some of the following:
Good understanding of the retail and eCommerce business
Good knowledge of stakeholder management
Experience in data visualisation software (such as Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, etc.) and data storytelling techniques
Knowledge of analytical techniques, or relevant domain datasets and tools for exploring them
Experience in data pre-processing techniques, e.g., how to handle missing data
Knowledge of SQL and the role it plays in data analysis
Basic knowledge of relevant scripting languages, such as Python

What you'll be doing day to day
The Analyst is a key role, today but even more in tomorrow's Ingka/IKEA. You'll drive the development of data-driven decision-making, and collaborate closely across business units, taking actions that make a global impact. We will give you the tools to become a hands-on enabler, helping our co-workers making data-driven decisions, supporting the creation of insights, business recommendations as well as decision support tools.
Your daily tasks will include but not be limited to:
• Data processing/wrangling
• Creating compelling data stories using established data visualisation and storytelling techniques
• Data management
• Processing and analysing data with Python
• Design and conduct experiments to test and optimise decisions
• Provide insights that help co-workers and stakeholders solve strategic and operational business problems and make better decisions
• Work with data securely and ethically
