Analysis & Verification Leader - Driver Assistance & Active Safety A&V
The development within Active Safety and Driver Support has been one of the fastest growing parts of Volvo R&D for the last decade. Volvo is the leading car manufacturer within this area and we are consistently launching world first Driver Assistance & Active Safety features in our vehicles.
Active Safety department consist of over 300 engineers and is responsible for the development and verification of Active Safety and Vehicle Dynamics systems and functions. The department will also have a major role in the development of Autonomous Vehicles at Volvo.
The Active Safety Analysis & Verification section supports development and performs verification of active safety functions and systems by means of virtual (CAE) or physical testing.
We are now recruiting for a Analysis & Verification Leader to lead the A&V activities
Main responsibilities
Own analysis & verification plan.
Coordinate and prioritize which verification activities that needs to be performed and which test environment that are to be used.
Work cross-functional supporting the engineering areas.
Lead A&V activities supporting the autonomous platform.
Report verification results to line & project. Escalate risks as needed.
Actively take part in and contribute to the work in the Active Safety Analysis & Verification management team.
Required qualifications
Experienced test leader with experience from Active Safety and/or other automotive areas.
Technical education on University level (Master of Science or similar).
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Driving license (B).
Personal qualities
An interest in leadership issues
Have an interest in working with analysis & verification supporting development of automotive safety and advanced supportive systems.
Structured, thorough and comfortable in summarizing and presenting the status of your tasks.
