Get to know us:
The section Vehicle NVH & Dynamics CAE is a part of the department Driving Dynamics and Noise & Vibration Centre within Product & Quality at Volvo Car Group. The centre has the responsibility to ensure that all dynamic attributes like Steering, Handling, Ride, Braking, Driver Assistance, Performance, Drivability, Noise, Vibration & Harshness (NVH) and Sound Quality are supported in the vehicle programs, both in terms of customer and legal requirements. Within the Vehicle NVH & Dynamics CAE section we have the responsibility for leading and support in areas as Roadnoise, Windnoise, Operational Sound Quality, Audio performance, Interactive Sound Quality, Trimbody development, Ride, Handling and Steering performance from a complete vehicle perspective in car programs and advanced engineering projects. The team works integrated in all project phases, contributing with competence, CAE and test analysis and guidelines to improve all attributes in Volvo cars.

We are now strengthen our team with a highly motivated Analysis Engineer within the area of Windnoise. As a analysis engineer you will be responsible to carry out analysis, verifications and make reccomendations to various design areas and project management. You will have many internal interfaces of collaboration and develop a broad network within Volvo Cars. To fulfil your responsibilities you will also get to travel in order to test our vehicles in different customer related driving conditions.

What you will do:
You will be responsible/participate for the area Windnoise within the vehicle programs. You will also be responsible for target setting as well as analyse and verification planning within the area. You will have the responsibility for the method development and advanced projects.

You will perform advanced analyses and support our projects and test vehicles in different customer related driving conditions to evaluate Windnoise.You will test subsystems according to system requirements and report results to vehicle programs and propose improvements to the design solutions.

What you need to have:
* Master of Science or higher education in Mechanical/Vehicle Engineering or Engineering Physics or similar.
* Experience within automotive NVH is an advantage.
* Experience from product development in the automotive industry is meritorious
* Drivers licence (B-level)
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
