Volvo Cars is on an exciting journey to further improve quality, CMQ (Current Model Quality) is a cross functional global arena for Product & Quality (P&Q), Procurement, Global Customer Service and Manufacturing & Logistic.
The P&Q part of CMQ is divided in global agile teams and are a part of the Vehicle and Product Streams acting as shared service and stakeholders.
We have Plant Vehicle Teams in all our Plants.
In running production we investigate and deliver product improvements to the Product Streams to maximize our customer value as well as for Volvo Cars.
We also lead the implementation of temporary actions in running production and supports the Product streams towards Critical Concern Action Process.
Based on our skills and competence we also support to prioritize the Product Streams backlog during the launch of new products.

Both internal and external factors have a major impact on how we develop our business.
The responsibilities of the department 94023 Current Model Quality (CMQ) are to strengthen the deliveries in CMQ for SW&E with focus on today's cars, manage quality issues and warranty cost reduction.
The team consists of employees situated in Gothenburg and in our plants worldwide.
Currently we are seeking CMQ QE (Quality Engineer) for SW&E CMQ team in VCT. You will be reporting to Manager Current Model Quality.
What you'll do
You will be part of one of our two SCRUM teams, working according to agile principles.
You will be responsible for scoping and leading the analysis of upcoming quality concerns in your area including handling / analysis of returned field material.
You will be using a DMAIC methodology why a good knowledge in Six Sigma methodology is important.
Understanding of issues in terms of customer behaviour and experience.
Lead Top and Critical Concern resolution.
Work through cross-functional networks all around the company.
Do you fit the profile?
You have a technical education.
Analytic skills, both data mining and deeper technical analysis.
Interest in understanding of relation between customer experience and technical/functional solution.
You enjoy working with others and have a high ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
You are analytical and structured and have experience working with quality article resolution.
You may have a 6 Sigma training and good knowledge of our products.
You are curious and want to learn new things.
English and Swedish in speech and writing.
