Cochlear BAS (Bone Anchored Solutions) in Mölnlycke just outside of Gothenburg designs, develops and produces the bone-anchored Baha hearing implant currently used in three products: BP100, Intenso and Cordelle II. BAS has approximately 180 employees with a wide range of competencies such as mechanical, technical, electro & bioengineering, design & product development, software development, audiology, clinical research, purchasing etc.
THE POSITION
As an Analysis Engineer at Cochlear you are expected to support a strong sustaining and development engineering for bone anchored hearing sound processors in the system and electronics area. This includes but is not limited to:
• Perform root cause analysis on devices in production and service and suggest changes for design improvement
• For sustaining engineering support high quality of planning and chain of documentation from fault diagnostics to corrective action
• For test systems and test methods identify defects/issues and develop improvements on test systems and test methods
• Support with resources in the developing of bone anchored hearing systems
• Contributing in the development of operations and structures
• Be aware of all relevant standards
QUALITIES & BACKGROUND
To be considered for this position you need minimum of 3-5 years experience of similar tasks. You possess excellent technical reporting skills and have a solid experience of test strategy and fault diagnostics. You stand on a good knowledge base within common manufacturing methods for electronics and also have knowledge in common measuring methods in the electronic field. Ability to handle measuring instruments is a distinct advantage as is basic knowledge in mechanics.
You have a university degree from a technical field and are fluent in Swedish and English with good writing and presentation skills in both.
As a person you have an analytic mindset with strong problem-solving skills. You are a communicative team-player with a talent for working methodically and find creative solutions.
