Get to know us:

The mission of the Driving Dynamics and Noise & Vibration Centre is to develop and deliver an excellent driver and passenger experience in all Volvo cars. The centre is responsible to ensure that dynamic attributes such as Noise, Vibration & Harshness (NVH), Sound Quality, Steering, Handling and Ride, are supported in the vehicle programs, both in terms of customer and legal requirements.

We are now strengthening our Vehicle NVH Integration team with a highly motivated Analysis Engineer within the area of Road noise.

What you will do:
As an analysis engineer you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a broad international network as being responsible for testing, analyses and verifications in the area of road noise. Furthermore, you will make recommendations for project management and various design areas to secure vehicle performance. You will also participate in the work of target setting as well as analysis and verification planning within the area. Work with continues improvements within method development and advanced engineering projects.

You will perform analyses and test vehicles in different customer related driving conditions to evaluate road noise. Test subsystems according to system requirements and report results to vehicle programs and propose improvements to the design solutions.

You and your skills:

You enjoy being creative and feel comfortable investigating unconventional solutions. In addition, with a strong analytical and result oriented mind you will be able to create a great structure and focus in cooperation with the team.

* Master of Science or higher education in Mechanical/Vehicle Engineering, Engineering Physics or similar
* Experience within automotive NVH is an advantage
* Experience from product development in the automotive industry is meritorious
* Drivers licence (B-level)
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
