The section Fuel System has the responsibility for the Fuel System as well as the AdBlue System. The main purposes of the Fuel System include filling and storing fuel corresponding to a specific driving range and providing the engine with fuel of correct flow and pressure. The AdBlue responsibility includes filling, storing and distribution of AdBlue liquid used for the exhaust after-treatment SCR system (Selective Catalytic Reduction). The components in the AdBlue system are similar to those used in the fuel system, but with other challenges such as thawing frozen AdBlue liquid. In the Fuel System section there are about 60 employees within four groups: Distribution, EVAP System & Lines, Storage and System Development.
As Analysis Engineer, you belong to the group Fuel System Development and your main tasks are to perform fuel and AdBlue system tests and to analyse the test results. The tests are performed both in system rigs and in complete vehicles on test tracks, public roads and in climate chambers. Final vehicle verification tests are performed on expeditions in e.g. Phoenix (hot climate) or Kiruna (cold climate). Further you will work closely with lead design engineers, function owners, project managers as well as test lab and vehicle coordinators.
Main responsibilities
* Perform tests in laboratory as well as in the field
* Analyze test results and write test reports
* Suggest improvements and simplifications to current test methods
* Report back to the test requestor
Required qualifications
* B.Sc. university degree in Chemistry or equivalent experience
* Fluent in English, spoken and written
* Good knowledge of Office
* Good knowledge about product development
* Experienced driver
* Driving license at least B
* Ability to travel
* Experience from driving on test tracks is meritorious
* Experience within fuel system and its sub-systems is meritorious
* Knowledge in chemistry, thermodynamics or mechatronics is meritorious
