Electrical Performance Senior Analysis Engineer

What will you do?
We are looking for a Senior Analysis Engineer for the department Electrical Systems Design that is responsible for the entire vehicle electrical system. Electrical Systems Design is a part of Vehicle Software & Electronics within Volvo Cars' Research and Development (R&D), and the department has approximately 200 employees.
You will work in a cross functional team together with attribute leaders and experts within Electrical Performance. As a part of the team, you get access to long-term development opportunities in a dynamic and continuously growing field. Future technologies will require new test methods and a completely new way of thinking - as we said: you can make a difference.
Your main responsibilities is within analyze and verification, but since you will work in a cross-functional team you will have the possibility to work also in the requirement or design phase as technical support. You establish and develop relationships with designers within almost all system areas of the vehicle as well as building an understanding of the HW and SW designs within those areas. In this position, you will therefore build and maintain a wide personal network within R&D. You have degrees of freedom to form your deliveries and to develop your own skills, both technically as well as in the area of leadership.
You and your skills
* .Sc. or B.Sc. in electronics, computer science or equivalent
* 3-5 year's experience from automotive industry and electrical area
* Driver's license valid in Sweden
If you have experience of the following we will considered that as an advantage:
* Testing on complete vehicle level
* Automatization experience

Location for this position is onsite in Gothenburg, Sweden from where we expect you are able to work with adequate working permits. Working proficiency in the English language, speech and writing, is a requirement. Combined with the same skills in the Swedish language is considered a merit.
