Volvo Cars has successfully launched a cutting edge Driver Interaction and Infotainment system, and is committed to continuous success.

The group Interaction Analysis and Verification consists of 16 team members. We are responsible for analysis and verification of DIM (Driver Information Module), CSD (Centre Stack Display) and HUD (Head up Display) components, within the feature areas Driver Information, Vehicle Functions and HMI Core. Infotainment complete testing is also part of the group's responsibilities.

Your role will be to work with our hardware teams to ensure that only high quality displays enter our premium vehicles. You will strive towards making all our infotainment displays (CSD, DIM, HUD) look and feel like a coherent visual experience. In practice, you will perform optical measurements in laboratory, expeditions to expose our displays to different light and temperature conditions, and participate in discussions with suppliers regarding their verification activities.

Main responsibilities
* Develop test methods for displays
* Perform tests in laboratory and in vehicle (optics / signaling)
* Report test results and appropriate recommendations to Project Management
* Review of requirements and supplier documentation
* Recommend appropriate threshold values for requirements

Required qualifications
* You have minimum a M.Sc. in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
* Degree in optics or similar experience
* You have former experience from working with quality assurance of complex embedded systems
* You are fluent in English (written and spoken)
* You have a valid driver's license B

Meritorious qualifications
* Experience from automotive and infotainment area
* Experience of working with CANoe
* Experience from working with Volvo systems such as CarCom, Elektra or SystemWeaver
