Analysis Engineer Chemistry and Fuel System

The Chemistry and Fuel System group is responsible for material testing of polymer materials in the engine compartment, chemical and physical analysis of polymer materials and automotive chemicals. We carry out tests for mainly new vehicle but we also support our quality department with analysis of used products.

As our new Analysis Engineer you will be responsible for the area material or component. We are looking for someone with good theoretical understanding of materials and who is interested in practical testing. You will work a lot with designing test methods and setting up test rigs. We have access to a well equipped laboratory with chemical analytical instruments and rigs for component testing used to ensure quality in our components. Our team has well build up knowledge and you will also work towards many other interfaces of internal customers in our company.

Main responsibilities

• You will be responsible for one working field; material or component
• Plan the testing together with the internal customers
• Perform testing with our different instruments
• You will be responsible for development of new test methods
• Present the results from the testing orally and in written
• You will be responsible for the testing equipments within your area

Required qualifications

• B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering or equivalent education
• Experience from laboratory work
• Experience from laboratory testing is meritorious
• Good computer skills
• Fluent in Swedish and English (written and spoken)
