hela Sverige The department Electrical Systems Design 94100 is responsible for the entire electrical system. Electrical Systems Design consists of seven sections and the group Verification Base Tech Multi Systems is a part of the section System Verification which is responsible for testing all base technologies in the electrical platforms. Base tech testing means integration testing and system testing.
We are now recruiting an Analysis & Verification Engineer for verification of the External Diagnostic Client Connection (EDCC) function used by both factories and workshops. The EDCC function handles and coordinates the connection of both locally and remotely connected external diagnostic tools. The EDCC function is an important enabler which makes it possible to communicate diagnostic information in a safe and secure way.
Tasks
* Your task will be to verify the EDCC solution from an end user functional and acceptance perspective.
* You will be using both test rigs and real cars for the verification.
* You will be responsible for writing test specifications, use cases etc. by being part of discussions with concept and requirement owners.
* You will need to establish a good network within the Volvo Cars both requirement and testing wise.
Required qualifications
* M.Sc. or B.Sc. within electronics, physics, mechatronic or equivalent
* You have good knowledge within English (both spoken and written)
* Experience of one or several tools such as: Vector tool CANalyzer and CANoe.
* Driver license
Preferred Qualifications
* Knowledge of Diagnostic over Internet Protocol (DoIP) ISO 13400
* Knowledge of Volvo Cars backend systems PIE
* Knowledge of VIDA system and after market
* Certified by "International Software Testing Qualifications Board" (ISTQB) is meritorious
* Experience in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python/Bash/CAPL is meritorious.
