The section Vehicle Dynamics Centre is responsible for attribute setting, analysis and verification of Vehicle Dynamics, Braking and Driving Assistance. The work includes objective testing and subjective evaluation of complete vehicles on Proving Grounds in real traffic environment. Other important tasks are developing virtual models and performing simulations.
The Driving Assistance Attribute Team is working with driver support functionality with a customer-centric perspective. We work in close collaboration with the development teams with focus on the complete chain from benchmark, requirements, analysis, industrialization and final validation.
In the role as Analysis Engineer Driving Assistance you are responsible for create scripts and tools and log equipment but also take part in benchmarking. We are using measurements from our project vehicles to build requirements and a knowledge base. The most common tools in the daily work is Matlab programming and Vector tools for measurements. Building stand-alone tools in other languages may also be needed.
Main responsibilities
* Develop development of measurements and verification methods
* Maintain and structure the measurement database
* Take an active part in data collection and benchmark activities
* Communicate the analysis results from tests and benchmarking
Competence requirements
* MSc in computer, electrical or mechatronics engineering
* At least 2 years' experience in testing or CAE
* Knowledge in CAN communication and Control units in vehicle electrical system
* Experience from Matlab and Vector tools
* Fluent in English
* Driver's license (B-level) and driving experience
Personal qualities
* Able to take initiative and to identify and accomplish challenging objectives
* Strong analytical and communicating skills
* Ability to plan, conduct, summarize and report your work in a structured and thorough manner
