Who are we?
The department Propulsion Power System is a part of Product Creation & Quality and responsible for the development of all Internal Combustions engines, all Hybrid engines and all Electrical machines.
The group Mechanical-Functional Testing consists of 18 engineers who are responsible to lead and conduct Mechanical Functional Testing & Verification for all of Volvo Cars propulsions systems.
What you will do
We are now searching for an analysis engineer who 's main responsibility will be oil consumption.
You will conduct tests in test cells at VCC Gothenburg, at our proving ground Hällered and on expeditions.
You will analyze the results and report to the responsible department. According to VCC 's aim to move testing into tests cells you shall develop test methods that corresponds to real driving.
You will also:
• Participate in and plan expeditions, appr 2times a year
• To plan, supervise and participate in vehicle testing
• To plan, perform and complete testing in test cells with appointed engines.
• Develop test methods in cooperation with concept and function owners.
• Move tests from vehicle to test cell
• Analyse test results and give feedback to responsible design engineer
Do you fit the profile?
You have a technical training in mechanical MSC or BSC or equivalent.
Experienced in the development and testing of engines.
You also have knowledge in INCA-PC, MDA, Mathlab.
Fluent English both written and oral and driver's license B.
