The Financial Crime Specialist will carry out the daily work in connection to the bank measures to prevent Financial Crime. Your main tasks will include (but not limited to):
• Examination and investigation of suspicious transaction monitoring and customer screening
• Be proactive and involved in the measures used in the Bank to prevent Financial Crime and give input to new measures that needs to be implemented
• Assess the risk of a new or existing customer
• Perform training and knowledge to other parts of operations, within the Financial Crime Area
• Support the business in decisions connected to high risk cases
• Take responsibility in ensuring that the work routines for the team are updated and correct
• Conduct thorough, unbiased and timely investigations into allegations of fraud
• Identify key metrics related to fraud and risk
• To cooperate with third parties to prevent and investigate financial crime
• Join and participate in forums and drive best practice in fraud prevention

Are you the one for Ikano?
For you to succeed in this role we believe that you have the following experience:
• University degree in a relevant subject
• Relevant investigative work experience from banks, insurance, police or other
• Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English and one of the Nordic languages
• Certificate from ICA/ACAMS is considered a plus
• Previous experience with SQL and an AML/Fraud system is considered a plus
• Finnish language skills is considered a plus
As a person we believe you have these skills:
• You are a professional in taking initiative and work proactively under own direction with a proven track record of creating results
• You are analytical and can define and document business requirements and you have proficient computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• You have a strong attention to details, with an analytical and challenging mindset.
• You are happy and secure working both independently and as a part of a team.
