Your Duties:
In your job as programmer with us you will mainly be working in C++ with QT5. In the beginning, your role will be a broad one with your main task being the development of a support tool for our music engine which is used in video games. The engine makes it possible to implement dynamic music into video games, meaning that the score adapts to whatever the player does. You will be working alongside two experienced programmers and your work will include GUI programming, work with continuous integration across different platforms as well as problem solving.
About the Company:
ELIAS Software is a newly established company based in Nacka with good travel facilities in to Slussen. Currently the company is made up of six staff and now we're looking to strengthen our team with an additional programmer. ELIAS Software's main project is the development of the ELIAS music engine detailed above. We work together with large game companies both within Sweden and globally.
Your Profile:
Requirements:
• A minimum of 1 year relevant education within computing/IT
• Good knowledge of C++
• Experience working in QT5
• Be well acquainted with Windows, Mac and Linux
• Either Swedish or English as your native language
• Very good knowledge of English (speech and written)
Beneficial:
• Knowledge of digital audio production
• Basic understanding of music theory
• Knowledge of digital signal processing and/or MIDI
• Be able to communicate in Swedish, if not already your native language (speech and written)
As a person you are enthusiastic, forthcoming and sociable. You should be passionate about programming and problem solving and be comfortable working in a small and close-knit group.
Place: Nacka
Work schedule: Full-time, Mon-Fri 8-17
Starting: Immediately
