www.pressroom.ups.com UPS is now looking for a part-time Alternative Facility Security Coordinator (AFSC) for the Stockholm area. This person will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of aviation security in the absence of the Facility Security Coordinator (FSC). The role containts to maintaine controls related to the receipt of secure cargo through outbound loading and transportation to an air gateway or alternate Regulated Agent (RA). The part-time Alternative Facility Security Coordinator role is to ensure regulatory compliance is maintained with all applicable laws and regulations in accordance with government legislation and should not be influenced by operational factors.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience within logistics and local sort environment
• Completed background checks specified by the appropriate authority and/or the UPS International Standard Background Checks whichever is the more stringent
• Excellent English and Swedish verbal and written skills
• College degree or equivalent is preferred
Candidate profile:
• Previous experience within security related business
• Ability to travel and be away on short notice
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Highly organized and uncompromising personality
• Excellent team player
• Attention to detail 'critical eye'
• Experienced in Microsoft (MS) applications such as Word, Excel and Access
The position is a 6 hour part-time contract with working hours mainly during afternoon and evenings. In order to meet the copmany regulations we value that that the applicants are flexible with the working hours if necessary.
