As an algorithm developer you will work as a key member of the core team to develop the company's sensor technology. You will have a significant impact on the design and applications support for the company's future products. As mmW radio is still in its infancy for consumer applications, this will give you a great opportunity to help shape the future direction of the company's technology. Travel will be required to support customer integration of the technology.

Accountabilities:
Identify radar signal properties for different objects and develop algorithms which will address typical but sometimes complex user scenarios
Develop signal processing methods for our radar system to support customer applications
Design applications and demonstration tests, which will be used by our customers to evaluate the technology
Document and present the results in a clear and structured way for internal characterization and development and for product data sheets
Support the company in its efforts to apply for patent applications across a wide range of different applications
Support product management in strategy regarding our firmware/software offering
Work closely with customers during the integration process to help and support customized integration of our software

Desired skills and expertise:
Experience working with advanced signal processing systems and algorithm optimization
Extensive knowledge in radio signal propagation
Experience in design of detect and track signal processing on sparse platforms
Competent in the use of signal processing simulation tools (Matlab, Simulink, or similar)
A science/engineering Master degree
English language skills

Nice to have:
Experience from processing of electromagnetic signals preferably in radar systems
Experience in the field of sensor fusion, merging information from several sensor types
Competent in C language
Experience of designing or supporting the design of digital ASICs
Experience in writing patents or working with patent engineers, previously approved algorithm and signal processing patent applications is a great plus
Swedish language skills

Proven analytical and problem solving skills and experience in developing new algorithms
Comfortable working in a fast moving and dynamic start-up environment
Ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Possess a tactful, consultative approach when dealing with customers and industry partners
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to operate across international zones and cultures
Possess the drive to succeed combined with a "make it happen" attitude
Skilled in driving multiple tasks to closure in a very dynamic environment
Exceptional time and project management skills.
