Support and Services, a business area of Saab, supplies a wide range of services and integrated support solutions to customers in defence and on commercial markets for cost-efficient support of systems and platforms throughout their life cycle.
Saab's Product Area, Surveillance Solutions, SSO, has been contracted to support the operation of the ordered Saab 2000 ERIEYE AEW&C in a Middle East country.
This is a major undertaking for Saab and we need to appoint a number of technical and administrative positions on site in the country capital.
Saab is setting up a Line & Base maintenance facility and need to employ a number of aircraft avionic mechanics.
Your future challenge
Your work as an avionic mechanic is to perform avionics maintenance on special mission Saab 2000 Aircraft operating out of a country air force base. You will also support and participate in the OJT task training of local aircraft avionic mechanics.
You will be stationed with accommodation both in the country's capital city and the Airforce base for 1-3 years employed and seconded by Saab AB.
Todays demands
You are a well experienced Avionics Mechanic used to work on Saab 340/2000 special mission aircraft or similair size turbo prop aircraft.
Experience of working in the Middle East is also favorable as well as exceptional social skills including focus on customer needs.
You are eager to embrace new cultures, non judgemental, tolerant and understand the need to be flexible knowing when to step forward and when to yield.
