Your responsibility will be to, together with your colleagues, find the nuggets of gold within these searches and transform these into actual sales figures. About the job
Together with your colleagues you will be part of securing the delivery of a world-leading solution for cheaper and more relevant air tickets. Through analysis, investigation and collaboration, both internal and external, you will continuously strive to develop how different flight options are matched together in order to meet customers' needs. To understand and master data, and to be able to understand what questions to ask is key in the company's ambition to become one of the world's most successful OTAs.In the role you will:
• Have a proactive approach to analysis and perform it on a daily basis for the company to take better business decisions.
• Through internal and external collaboration secure a high bookability rate of tickets.
• Be an expert on GDS and LCC aggregator functionality with which you assist the organization in their daily business.
• Identify new functionality and solutions for analysis, searches, bookings and ticketing.
• Participate in relevant projects to ensure the development of the Air Content product.
As the relevant functions are located in Stockholm, Uppsala, Gothenburg and Athens, the job can include some travel and it requires that you are comfortable with speaking and writing in English, preferably also in Swedish.
About you
The role requires someone with an analytical and business oriented mind-set as well as an urge to continuously improve solutions, functionalities and the business itself. It is of great importance that you are motivated by the complexity of the airline-ticketing industry and thrive in a fast-moving environment.
You have previously worked with GDS, LCC bookings or have other relevant experience of airline ticketing. Since you will have colleagues with different nationalities it is important that you have good communication skills and enjoy collaborating with others.
We expect you to have:
• Experience of working with GDS, LCC-bookings or other relevant airfare/air ticketing areas.
• A couple of years of work experience where analysis has been part of your tasks.
• A positive mindset and an urge to deliver results.
We get excited about all and any of the following:
• A bachelor or master's degree in economics, IT, statistics or other relevant education through which you have learnt the business perspective of the travel industry
• Experience from working with complex problems that required dedication to solve.
• Experience of putting together and presenting business solutions.
• Data visualization tools and/or tools for analytics (QlikView, Looker, Excel).
