The AI Hub is a newly established unit in Nordea with the mission to scale AI across the organisation to improve customer experiences, operational efficiency and insights. We are now looking for an experienced and motivated AI Operations Lead to support internal data science teams to successfully take AI solutions from idea to delivery across Nordea. You will work closely with data scientists, developers, product owners and business stakeholders to help them navigate through the AI lifecycle process and ensure effective implementation of best practice principles, policies, guidelines and tools.

About this opportunity
What you'll be doing:
* Support business units and data science teams across Nordea with end-to-end execution of the AI lifecycle process and ensure that AI initiatives implement mandatory procedures, policies and practices
* Educate the organisation about Nordea's AI framework including our AI lifecycle process, risk management guidelines, ethical principles and data science platform
* Act as a catalyst between the AI Hub and stakeholders in Business Units, Technology, Risk and Architecture to advance AI initiatives from idea to deployment
* Operationalize and contribute to AI governance documents such as the AI risk catalogue, AI Lifecycle checklist and model validation guidelines
* Collaborate with risk functions to drive model validation by ensuring that AI initiatives are properly documented and that risks are adequately identified, assessed and mitigated
* Assist business units with evaluation and onboarding of third-party AI technologies
* Drive the procurement process of new AI vendors including business case development, sourcing, risk assessment, architecture approval and contracting
* Contribute to the development and implementation of the AI roadmap
* Research and maintain a current view of the AI vendor landscape
* Work with business units to identify new AI/ML opportunities, peform proof of concepts and shape ideas into use cases to guide the design and development of new AI applications

Your experience and background:
* Academic degree in IT, business administration or other relevant field with a strong motivation to continuously develop your skillset
* 5+ years of relevant work experience, e.g. as IT Consultant, Operations Manager, Business Analyst, Technical Project Manager or similar role
* Strong execution skills and problem-solving ability with a collaborative and goal oriented mind-set: you see opportunities rather than challenges
* Excellent communication, presentation and storytelling skills with very good level of English
* Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to inspire confidence and support for risk management and compliance
* Experience in managing complex projects in large organisations with multiple stakeholders
* Knowledge of the data science lifecycle process and machine learning techniques
* Good understanding of what it means to work with risk management in a regulated industry. Experience from the financial sector is of merit but not a requirement
* Experience from implementing standards, best practices, policies and tools and securing co-worker awareness and training within these areas
* Working knowledge of agile methodology. SAFe certificate is preferred but not required
* Experience in project management in a multicultural and multidisciplinary context, working with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders
