We are looking for 2-3 Agile Technical QA Coaches as a member of the Automation Chapter, an organization unit within the SAFe/DevSecOps based organization of Ikano Bank Digital. The Chapter is responsible for processes, guidelines, best practice and guiding activities and for setting up IT support tools applied on the Ikano architectural landscape. The Chapter acts as a shared service for several release trains and functions.

The Agile Technical QA Coaches is responsible for coaching software development teams on technical software craftsmanship and practices that are best suited for use in Ikano Banks implementation of Agile. This role will educate teams on how software principles and practices fit all the way from strategy down to "asCode" in a modern development setting. You will work together with the agile team engineers and business testers on how to build a modern engineering experience in an exciting industry.

You will be working in a high intensity, creative and adaptable environment. As part of the role you will lead other resources, negotiate scope, monitor metrics and provide daily guidance.

Example of tasks:

• Defining and implementing E2E software quality strategy
• Mentoring and guiding the development resources in our agile teams
• Measuring and accelerating the pace of release by advising on tools and frameworks for accuracy, repeatability, and scalability
• Sharing your knowledge and building creative technical solutions while helping the team evolve suitable practices
• Collaborating with colleagues as part of the Bank leadership team

You will be working in a high intensity, creative and adaptable environment. As part of the role you will lead other resources, negotiate scope, monitor metrics and provide daily guidance.

Professional skills

• 5-10 years of experience as developer or architect preferably with cloud-based solutions and within the Financial industry to some extent
• Elaborate understanding and working experience with Incident, Change and Problem management functions
• Experience from monitoring and related tools in cloud environments
• Open-minded, should be able to adapt to working in a multi-cultural team atmosphere.
• Experience from off/near shore delivery is beneficial

Key competencies

• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Strong leadership skills, ability to track multiple initiatives simultaneously and share insights
• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle, roles, and work in an agile environment
• Good technical skills and understanding of database structures and infrastructure elements on system and system integration level.
• Flexible to contribute to several initiatives/release trains in parallel, and to adapt to eco-system constraints
• Self-motivated and eager to drive improvements from start to end

Key figures

The Agile Technical QA Coaches are part of the Automation Chapter in the central Ikano Development organization consisting of a total of 75+ co-workers, and therefore you may be working on one or more simultaneous initiatives across the location within the bank. You will be part of a small team of Operational Managers under the guidance of a Operational Readiness Lead.

You will be expected to take an active role in driving activities to improve the customer experience of our solutions throughout the DevSecOps lifecycle E2E.
