About the job We are now looking for our new APO for the z/OS Platform Cross Functional Team within the Application Hosting Tech Stream. In the role as APO you have an important mission. You will have to balance between short-term and long-term needs and be able to make decisions in the best interest of Swedbank. There will be challenging targets but you will also have a lot of mandate and freedom in how to reach those goals.
The z/OS Platform CFT maintains and develops the IBM-z platform at Swedbank. We work with both Hardware and z/OS including different tools such as GDPS, System Automation, Netview and RACF.
You will work with a team of highly skilled Mainframe technicians responsible for 24/7 delivery of the z-platform.
Main activities for an APO are:
Secure delivery of appropriate, secure reliable IT services throughout the life-cycle in accordance to the internal and external regulations and standards
Ensure IT services are aligned with Swedbank's wanted position and Target Architecture
Define and communicate the product vision and articulate the backlog items
Prioritize and manage the backlog
Coordinate dependencies with other teams inside and outside of Group IT
Manage stakeholder expectations on deliveries
Ensure problem, incident and crisis management
What you need to succeed Extensive knowledge of the technical area/service and good business understanding of the area
Customer centric view and the ability to prioritize and make decisions in the interest of Swedbank, meaning to keep balance between short-term and long-term needs
Ability to communicate the product vision
Good stakeholder management skills
Good cooperation skills and willingness to find solutions across organizational boarders
Self-driven with a give and take responsibility mindset

Proficient in oral and written English
A university degree in economics, engineering or science is a merit
