About the job Do you want to be in the frontline with new technologies and love to innovate? Do you want to build new services from the start and help setting up and form a new team from the scratch? Then this is the opportunity for you!
We are now looking for our new APO for the Cloud & Container area within the Application Hosting Tech Stream. It is this team that will help us take the next step within these areas.
Container: The team will create new services based on a container platform. The team will primarily focus on building and maintaining the core platform functions, making a secure and stable service in close collaboration with value streams.
Cloud: The team will act as a Cloud Service Broker of services from the largest Cloud Service Providers on the market, (Azure and AWS), for other tech- and value streams to use. Initial focus for the team will be to establish and operate IaaS offerings.
As APO you will be responsible for the requirements in your backlog and for maximizing the value of the work of the cross functional team. You will collect requirements from different stakeholders and prioritize them in the backlog - find the best balance between new functionality, maintenance, life cycle, regulatory items, etc.
You will together with your colleagues, Team Managers and Agile Product Owners from various tech streams build and develop a high performing organization built on agile principles with the task to deliver best-in-class solutions.
You will work very closely with the Team Manager to ensure alignment between our future roadmap and the capability of the team.
This is an important position where you will have to balance between short-term and long-term needs and be able to make decisions in the best interest of Swedbank.
There will be challenging targets but you will also have a lot of mandate and freedom in how to reach those goals.
Main activities for an APO are:
Secure delivery of appropriate, secure reliable IT services throughout the life-cycle in accordance to the internal and external regulations and standards
Ensure IT services are aligned with Swedbank's wanted position and Target Architecture
Define and communicate the product vision and articulate the backlog items
Prioritize and manage the backlog
Coordinate dependencies with other teams inside and outside of Group IT
Manage stakeholder expectations on deliveries
Ensure problem, incident and crisis management
What you need to succeed Extensive knowledge of the technical area/service and good business understanding of the area
Customer centric view and the ability to prioritize and make decisions in the interest of Swedbank, meaning to keep balance between short-term and long-term needs
Ability to communicate the product vision
Good stakeholder management skills
Good cooperation skills and willingness to find solutions across organizational boarders
Excellent communication skills
Self-driven with a give and take responsibility mindset

Proficient in oral and written English
A university degree in economics, engineering or science is a merit
