ASSA ABLOY Group function uses external vendors for development and test around implementations for the e-commerce and web platform. The two teams consists of around 20 developers, testers and deployment/release consultants, currently placed in Sweden, Finland, Poland and India. These two development teams are lead and managed by ASSA ABLOY internally.
Dina arbetsuppgifterAbout the role
ASSA ABLOY Group function uses an external vendor for development and test around implementations for the e-commerce platform. The team consists of around 15 developers, testers and deployment/release consultants, currently placed in Finland and Poland. The implementation work is conducted in an agile way following the Kanban methodology. Internally you have architects and project managers leading the work and development life cycle.
Since leading the development team is not a full time role, some side work supporting technical project management will apply within the team's variety of projects. Such projects can be rollouts to new entities within ASSA ABLOY, new development projects, wider change request related tasks and deployment and release related tasks.
As agile coach and tech lead you will be operatively leading the development in the daily sprint work. You will manage daily stand-ups, planning and balancing the team competences towards the tasks' characters and needs, and manage the team's efficiency. Furthermore you will be overviewing that the team is following processes, methodologies as well as emelents in the daily work such as documentation and unit tests. All in all your responsability is making sure that the team delivers and takes care of the activity pipeline from beginning to end, according to the set time frames.
Kvalifikationer• Relevant academic background is a plus or equivalent work experience and training in technical leadership and project management.
• Knowledge and experience from Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban and overall agile methodologies and how they can be blended efficiently
• Ability to visualize with charts and numbers the team's burn and efficiency rate out of spent time aligned to estimated hours, where Jira experience is a plus
• Understanding of Software Development components such as standards, code base, versioning, integrations, documentation, test and deployments
• Fluent in English, both verbal and writing. Swedish knowledge is a strong advantage
Personality
As a leader and coach you are expected to create engagement, work with personal development and bridging the team's understanding of the ASSA ABLOY's business, vision, culture and processes. You will give feedback to the team to embrace continuous learnings and improvements to both process and attitude down to individual level. To manage these tasks well you need to be a good and clear communicator with understanding of cultural and interpersonal differencies. Furthermore you work in a flexible and pragmatic way and not stuck in one methodology. Your leadership skills are vital in this position as well as listening, analyzing and landing solution propositions. You will bring the best team efficiency through strong team engagement and committment as well as proud responsibility for the development delivery.
