Scania has established a transformation team with the aim of accelerating Lean-Agile transformation across Scania. We, team XP, are now looking for an experienced Agile Coach to guide us through this cultural journey. If you have great communication and leadership skills and want to lead the way in a Lean-Agile transformation journey, this is an opportunity for you!
Your influence and your duties
As an Agile Coach, you provide guidance, mentoring, and coaching. You are an excellent facilitator and lead by example to promote a culture of experimentation and innovation. You collaborate with other agile coaches and play an important role in coaching and mentoring people throughout the whole organization in all aspects of agile practices and principles. A growth mindset and belief in people are crucial to your success.
Duties:
• Coach and mentor members of team XP on Lean-Agile methods.
• Act as an advisor to large initiatives guiding their implementation of agile at scale.
• Support and facilitate workshops and agile events on all levels.
• Promote self-organization and team spirit to shorten feedback loops.
• Assist with internal Lean-Agile communication for transparency and clarity.
• Give constructive feedback to team XP to evolve agile skills and knowledge.
• Co-creating a broad Delivery Practices toolbox that is framework-agnostic.
• Building a safe environment with an emphasis on transparency and collaboration.
• Participating in Communities of Practice; using creativity and a sense of humor to make building great products' fun
Your mindset & skills
Being an Agile Coach is a multifaced role, and we want you to be a source of inspiration for the agile mindset. With passion and encouragement, you will make Lean-Agile principles an integral part of the Scania culture. You possess great people skills, a large dose of curiosity, and a positive can-do attitude to motivate your surroundings. Finding, implementing, and pursuing radical new ideas and solutions, even in complex situations, really gets you going. You inspire and coach others to develop and continuously improve a transparent, trusting environment.
Skills:
• Dare to challenge old habits.
• Are fluent in agile methodologies and frameworks.
• Have at least seven years of experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, Agile Coach or similar in a large-scaled agile organization with complex dependencies
• Have a passion for organizations that apply Lean-Agile at scale.
• Embrace Lean-Agile ways of working for stakeholders such as HR and Finance.
• Have played a central role in a major Lean-Agile transformation.
