The challenge as an Aftermarket project manager:
Volvo Penta is in the process of adapting to technologies such as Electromobility and Vehicle Automation, this transformation will change how we work with development pushing more agile work streams. In these projects as the aftermarket Project Manager you will drive the aftermarket deliveries and lead your project team from project initiation to the end of the project. Your responsibilities are to obtain the necessary project requirements and resources from the line organization and to identify, plan and secure aftermarket activities to meet agreed project objectives. This calls for cross-functional craftsmanship with a strong aftermarket and customer experience focus. You will belong to the Aftermarket Project Office and in the projects have a key role in the core project management team.
Main task examples:
Plan all aftermarket activities and deliveries of a project and secure resources to meet the plans
Coordinate and anchor your plans with the Chief Project Manager and other parts of the project as well as within the AM organization
Build high performing project teams
Pro-actively leading, driving and following-up the aftermarket delivery of the project according to the decided processes
Manage risks to minimize the impact on projects and pro-actively take actions and escalate risks and concerns

Competence profile
Experience of working with Electromobility platforms
Proven capability of managing projects with a big portion of change management
Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels in the company. You can easily reach across functions, processes and organization when needed
High sense of ownership with the ability to lead, coordinate and motivate team members
Strong team player with a pro-active, flexible and open mindset
Understanding the service dealer network and the aftermarket business
Preferred experience from working within the Volvo Group and Project management
Proficiency in written and spoken Swedish and English
University degree in engineering or equivalent
