We currently have the following job opening;
After Market Product Improvement Project Leader
The After Market - Product Improvement Project Leader manages product improvements from decision to start a project, up to the point where it is introduced into production in vehicle plants.
The main market where the cars are sold is China. The vehicle plants are located in China.
The department will consist of 4-5 project leaders, each with their own area of responsibility.
Input from market comes from product follow up engineers at the Sales Company or from production sites in China. Daily work is to manage product improvement projects in accordance with the defined running change process.
Running this type of projects means numerous contacts with persons and departments in China and Sweden. Business travel to these areas can be expected.
Responsibilities and tasks
• Follow quality deviation indicators from several sources
• Refine incoming information to defined project tasks
• Secure validity of incoming information by doing or requesting deeper investigations
• Present presumptive quality project to decision forum
• Keep track of status of running projects and do presentations of status
• Summon and lead cross functional teams, appropriate for each individual task
Requirements
• Automotive experience achieved by working in this kind of environment
• Sc. or several years of relevant experience
• Experience from an international and multi-language environment is meritorious.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Fluency in English, both oral and written. Chinese is meritorious.
• Self-starter with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic and developing organization
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships with colleagues and external partners
• Able to travel when needed to support operations in China
• Cultural awareness, especially Asian - European culture
