AFRY 's business area Food & Pharma is one of the 4 areas that AFRY is focusing on during 2021 and we are excited to add two new Sustainability Business Partners (one in Food and one in Life Science).
Who are we?
We are approximately 500 team members who are involved in projects and assignments within the Food and Life Science Industry. We have offices in several locations in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Estonia. Our business model is to maintain and develop our consulting service which is delivered on a project basis as well as turnkey solutions. Our projects involve the entire process from the blueprinting phase through design, execution and validation. Our business segment is characterized by extensive industry experience and competence within project management, process design, automation and quality assurance.
About the role
As our Sustainability Business Partner, you will support our entire business area. Location for this role can be in Stockholm, Göteborg, Malmö or Copenhagen. You will be reporting to Lotta Falck, VP and Head of Business Area Food & Pharma. In this position, you will allocate approximately 80% of your time on assignments acting as our expert. One of your main responsibilities will be to accelerate our customer's transition towards a more sustainable society. You will also focus on climate neutrality and support our customers efforts to decrease their climate impact. The remaining 20% will be devoted to sales strategy which involves interacting with your colleagues in other divisions and business areas.
In this role you will be part of driving and implementing our sustainability strategy, focusing on sustainability awareness, and communicating our journey forward as a leader in Food and Life Science.. You will also develop business relationships with new and existing customers.
Your main responsibilities:
Support our customers efforts to decrease their climate impact and help them accelerate the transition towards a more sustainable society.
Participate in sustainability related assignments as our expert at customers sites
Create and implement our sustainability strategy
Develop new customer relationships as well as maintaining existing business relationships
Be responsible for strategic sustainability communication
Participate in partnerships, client meetings, seminars and other events that are strategically significant
Contribute to policy and process development within the sustainability area
Continuously communicate our performance to external and internal stakeholders
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of sustainability related trends and events to leverage Food and Life Science performance and position.
Qualifications
You have extensive experience of working with sustainability and climate neutrality in the Life Science industry or food industry
Preferable, you have experience and knowledge regarding EU Taxonomy
It is beneficial if you have experience working with tools such as LCA and sustainability screening and/or circular economy
You have previously been responsible for creating and implementing sustainability strategies and know how to follow up on actions/goals in an efficient way
You have strong social skills and excel at stakeholder management
You are ambitious and goal oriented
You are fluent in Swedish or Danish and English
You are passionate about sustainability
