Want to be part of a fast moving antibody discovery company in the fight against cancer and other serious diseases using therapeutic antibodies ?
We are looking for a protein expression and purification Scientist, responsible for mammalian cell culturing and transient expression.
You will work closely with our world class teams and you will be responsible for production of our therapeutic antibodiescandidates and support of associated line and project activities, following up internal processes and ensuring a good and professional information flow for projects.
This is a 1 year position. The location is in Oslo, Norway
You must be an experienced scientist with bachelor or master degreein a biology related field. The position is also interesting for recently graduated PhD-students who want to take a first step into the biotech/pharma industry. You must have very good documentation skills in English, both written and orally, and good communication skills and be able to engage in constructive discussions. You must have expertise in culturing of mammalian cells (adherent and suspension), transient expression of recombinant proteins (liposome based transfection techniques) and are competent in protein analytics (SDS-gel electrophoresis, western-blot, ELISA). An advantage is experience in protein purification/characterisation, especially with antibodies (protein A purification, size exclusion chromatography, and use of the Äkta. Industrial experience will also be advantageous.
