Tasks:This is a multi-discipline role. You must have the unusual capability of being able to create design ideas following Koenigsegg brand identity and aesthetic DNA, while also being able to deliver the designs from an engineering perspective.
To become a member of the Koenigsegg Design & Engineering team and support the development programs with aesthetic CAD expertise. Duties include:
• Create professional styling proposals using freehand and 3D sketching tools such as Alias.
• Support the design process with physical modelling in clay and other media.
• Generate high quality renderings to showcase your work.
• Create Class A surfacing to be used as basis for the engineering development using Alias.
• Produce 3D engineering models and assemblies, and 2D drawings using Catia V5.
• Support the release of product into production (Smarteam PLM).
• Apply GD&T to all designs.
• Understanding and preaching best design
Education:
BSc in Transportation / Industrial Design and / or Mechanical Engineering. MSc preferred.

Experienses:
Demonstrated successful experience in mechanical engineering within industrial design, product development and manufacturing environments.
• 5 years' experience in 2D/ 3D CAD.
• Exceptional hand sketching capability.
• Good experience creating A-Class surfaces.
• Experience with product and process validation.
• Experience applying GD&T
• Experience with assemblies, multi-model links, design in context.
• Experience with detailed drafting and modelling.
• Experience with Alias or similar surface CAD program is a must.
• Experience with PLM system.
• Experience with 3D StudioMax is a plus.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to train others.
• Experience with CATIA V5 is a strong plus.
• Experience with Smarteam PLM is a plus.
• Automotive experience is a plus.
• BSc in Transportation / Industrial Design and / or Mechanical Engineering. MSc preferred.
• Composites and tooling, casting design or manufacturing experience a plus.
• Metrology experience is a plus.
Language:
Swedish, English
PC/Mac program:
• Experience with Alias or similar surface CAD program is a must.
• Experience with PLM system (Smarteam / Enovia).
• Experience with 3D StudioMax is a plus.
