Sol Voltaics improves the efficiency of energy capture, generation and storage using miniscule amounts of nanomaterials. We are a small but fast-growing company developing a high volume production technology called Aerotaxy. Our nanowire solar cell technology improves efficiency of solar cells, contributing to a sustainable energy world.
Work description
As a Process Technician in the Aerotaxy group, you will work closely with the project manager to develop the Aerotaxy growth process. Your main responsibilities will be for organizing and executing growth experiments and maintenance on the Aerotaxy tool, analyze samples using SEM and process the data. You will be expected to gain good understanding of the tool workings and contribute to the overall development of this new and novel growth technique.
Qualifications
You are a hands-on technically competent individual who enjoys caring of lab and equipment. Preferably you hold the equivalent of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have some work experience from industry. In addition to your technical skills, you are familiar with working up data in spreadsheet programs such as Microsoft Excel. Prior experience from working with vacuum deposition or CVD growth systems, or other reactive gas processes is merited.
You are self-motivated, independent worker who wants to spend significant time in the lab. You can take responsibility for delivering results on time and are comfortable presenting your findings in English to senior management. You are excited about being part of a high energy start-up and are prepared to help out with tasks that lie outside of your usual responsibility area when needed. The day-to-day work is in Lund, Sweden.
