Your profile
* Master or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aero Space Engineering, Engineering physics or similar.
* A well-driven person with a problem-solving mindset.
* A person that can work in a team and make it more effective & efficient.
* Knowledge and interest in Fluid Dynamics, programing, and mathematics.
* Highly motivated and passionate
* English language skills are required. Swedish language skills are meritorious.
Your responsibilitites
* You will be part of a diverse R&D group consisting of highly skilled engineers who work with, aeromechanics, aerodynamics, rotordynamics and solid mechanics.
* In this position you will contribute to the aero design of robust, reliable, and highly efficient turbomachinery compressors by using CFD tools.
* As an Aerodynamic engineer you will be a part of the whole development process starting from the concept design of compressors to the test evaluation and further on in the products life cycle. You will also be responsible to drive the innovation and technology within the field of compressor aero dynamics. In alignment with Siemens Energy 's vision to increase R&D effectiveness, you will have the opportunity work with and implement optimization tools as well as develop new methods.
* As part of a global organization, you will have the opportunity to build a network that expands across the world, from Europe to North America and Asia. On top of that, your multi-disciplinary collaborations will for example include the Mechanical Design, Mechanical Integrity, Test department and Manufacturing.
