In the Painted Body & Closures department we are now looking for a new colleague who will take on the role of Senior advanced engineering leader for Joining Technologies.You will work in a creative environment where tomorrow's cars are shaped. The Strategy, Concepts and Advanced Engineering group "S&C" is a team of 10 persons working with strategies, pre-development, concept development, and operational development. We deliver new technical solutions, mainly based on materials, efficient structures and joining solutions for car bodies and closure applications to the department in pre-development, concept and maintenance phase. We now need to reinforce the group with a person working with advanced engineering assignments focusing on joining technologies for body structures & closures applications.
Your team
As Advanced engineering leader you will join the S&C-team and support the complete Painted Body & Closures department with joining development focused on product aspects (with a strong manufacturing connection). You will work in close collaboration with technical experts in the fields, with the department engineering groups and together with manufacturing engineering (ME). Your network will stretch from P&Q & ME to external contact with suppliers and research partners.
Who are you?
You have a high interest in technical development and innovative approach. We also believe that you have extensive net building and team working abilities, and with skills to share knowledge and information.
You also have a M.Sc. in relevant area and knowledge in the field of joining development. It is meritorious if you have knowledge in engineering areas coupled to body & closures.
