Publiceringsdatum2021-08-23Beskrivning av jobbetAs an Advanced Technical Project Buyer for projects and product areas with focus on purchasing engineering of turned and milled parts as well as other standard materials, you will be entrusted with your own area of responsibility within the scope of projects and/or in day-to-day operations. You will be part of a dedicated technical purchasing team which directly contributes to our company's result through beneficial contracts, high service grade, and good supplier relations.
You will work cross-functionally within Bosch Rexroth, both locally and internationally, e.g. with logistics, production, quality and engineering - as well as externally with suppliers.
The role includes, among others, the following main tasks:
Prepare & execute inquiry packages and screen the base of potential suppliers
Conduct technical sourcing reviews with suppliers and check plausibility of offers
Independently drive technical and commercial purchasing projects
Understand and analyze the cost elements and cost drivers
Drive purchasing interface process improvements
Conduct price negotiations of the local and global supply base
Manage purchasing initiatives
Act as project manager and first point of contact within defined area of responsibility
Actively drive innovation management together with suppliers
Manage and/or support supplier quality claims
Initiate actions to achieve and cross-functionally improve procurement goals such as cost savings, lead times, quality standards and delivery times
Kravspecifikation
You are an engineer or technical buyer with a university degree and with multiple years of experience in engineering or purchasing, preferably with 3-4 years of experience in steel, machined, and/or casting materials.
You have well developed project management skills and a structured way of working, with a strong willingness and motivation to learn. You have a pro-active and flexible working style and good communications skills.
Experience in working with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) is required. Experience in SAP is preferable.
The job requires domestic and international travel.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required. Knowledge of German is an advantage for the position - but not a requirement.
We will put high emphasis on personal characteristics when filling the position.
