You will be hired as a consultant, working as a part of our staffing services within IT and Engineering.
The assignment
You will be a part of the purchasing team in charge of launching one of the most important programs within the thermal area/department. This includes being responsible for the project development of the clients supply base.
You will...
• Be responsible of a group of worldwide suppliers
• Conduct and lead the audit process at the supplier
• Verify flawless launch at supplier in quality and volume and time of execution
• Challenge suppliers on manufacturing related issues
• Be the interface between product team and the suppliers
• Organize technical and project review
• Ensure good communication and file hand-over with the production site
Other work tasks:
• Evaluation and recommendation of new suppliers prior to sourcing
• Evaluation of risks for new or resourced parts
• Providing support to purchasing when applicable
Your profile
• University degree in Engineering Bac +5 / Masters
• Experience in manufacturing processes (Machining, stamping, electricity, casting, plastic, aluminium...)
• Knowledge of PFMEA (AMDEC process) and quality audit
• Willingness to travel (up to 50% of time)
• Other quality tools (SPC, 5 why's, expertise in ICM/Shainin...) is a merit
• Proficiency in English, other European languages is a plus (German/French/Swedish for example)
