What we offer
Are you passionate about driving innovation and establishing governance processes in a global manufacturing setting? We are now looking for a dynamic and experienced Advanced Manufacturing Governance Lead to join our team and lead the way in fostering best practices and breakthrough innovations.
What You'll Do
As the Advanced Manufacturing Governance Lead, you will be responsible for the global governance of the manufacturing intake process. You will establish and oversee the Volvo Cars Standard for manufacturing intake ideas, including best practices, innovations, breakthroughs, and big bets. Developing and managing policies and procedures for robust governance, you will create and manage the processes and systems for effective global deployment and implementation.
You will ensure compliance with Volvo Cars standards, review and validate business cases, facilitate the transition from idea to implementation, and track and report on implementation status and progress. Supporting the delivery of implementation projects, you will also develop and maintain systems for flow management, search engines, and catalog and library databases, while securing the content and availability of playbooks and videos.
Aligning intake processes with Manufacturing Roadmaps, you will develop and manage a rewards and recognition program for successful big bets implementation. Leading global best practice sharing communications and community collaborations, you will promote sharing, learning, and leveraging of best practices, provide technical support for scalability, and qualify best practices to the Volvo Cars standard.
The location for this role is Gothenburg, Sweden.
What You'll Bring
To be successful in this role we believe that you have:
* At least 5 years of relevant work experience within related field.
* Leadership experience with the capability of leading teams.
* Familiarity with manufacturing operations and organizational structures.
* Strong understanding of Volvo Cars' working culture and networks.
* Preferably a bachelor's degree in engineering

* Decisiveness and conviction.
