On behalf of one of our clients, Dfind Science & Engineering is now looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer for an exciting assignment.
Role description
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with experience from the automotive industry. In this role you will have the responsibility for all operational and advanced manufacturing activities in order to achieve fixed team targets.
The main tasks of this role include:
• Determination of assembly time, using industrial engineering methods
• Manufacture feasibility analysis (DFA/DFM) and PFMEA on new products
• Plant and process layout for new products and plant launches
• Specifications and recommendations for manufacturing equipment and ergonomic improvements at the plant
• Cost analysis of product and process alternatives
• Monitor and audit manufacturing best standards as well as simulate continuous improvement processes at the plant
Background
You have a degree in industrial engineering or similar. You have several years of experience within the industry and/or manufacturing engineering field with strong computer and manufacturing simulation skills. High volume automotive manufacturing engineering work experience is beneficial.
You have professional knowledge in the areas of:
• Lean manufacturing
• Plant layout using AutoCAD
• Equipment selection, purchasing and installation
As a person you are highly motivated, driven and self-reliable. You have the ability to cooperate with people of different levels, both internally and externally, and to interact with different teams in order to reach your goals and business objectives. You are committed and take responsibility for decisions and results and you enjoy working in a dynamic environment, prepared for a high workload from time to time.
You are fluent in Swedish and English.
Assignment: 6 months with good chances, for the right candidate, to be extended.
