Advanced Engineering (AE) network manager
CEVT has a newly established an AE-council with primarily the following responsibility:
* Find synergies between AE-projects or assignments
* Propose and coordinate need of new AE-projects based on CEVT strategy for coming years with associated budget
* Review larger AE-projects and make recommendation to the CMT Operational meeting for decision
* Organize 1 or 2 AE-days per year (open for all employees)
* Initiate / approve AE-process changes.
The position we offer gives a holistic view of all ongoing AE-work within CEVT, which makes the AE network manager central when it comes to communication, item guidance and organization of AE-work and technical days. You will be part of the Innovation team at CEVT and report to the Vice President, Innovation, Market Intelligence and Governance.
In the position as, AE network manager you will have following tasks:
* Lead the AE-council consisting of representatives from all CEVT R&D departments, Geely Design and Connected Car & UX
* Guide and prioritize AE-portfolio assignments towards company strategies.
* Report AE-portfolio status to CEVT management. Make recommendations to keep a balanced AE portfolio.
* Keep track on ongoing large AE-assignments by creating overall AE-project plan.
* Plan and arrange AE-days including reporting to management
* Connect AE assignments and/with Innovation tasks
Qualifications
* We are looking for you that have experience of working and leading technology intensive product development, preferably within the automotive, high tech or telecommunication industries.
* Experience of managing large research or Advanced Engineering portfolio is an advantage.
* As part of the Innovation team, you are interested in new ideas, new technologies and new working processes.
* To be successful in this position you are structured with a holistic view, open minded and it is easy for you to interact with different people.
* You have a strong personal drive and motivation with ability to take initiative and drive projects independently and/or in cooperation with others.
* Cultural awareness is an important factor to be successful.
* Suitable theoretical background is Bachelor or Master of Science.
