Our stunning campus in Gothenburg is one of AstraZeneca 's three strategic science centres. The site is home to over 2,500 employees, from 50 different nationalities. AstraZeneca is growing, and we are now extending our team with an Administrator to join the GMD Business Support Office. The GMD Business Support Office performs high level administrative support and administrative duties across GMD. The administrators provide support such as management support, drug project support and specialist support. On site we also have a front desk where we meet our customers ' f2f. The role can involve executive level contact globally, in a dynamic and complex business environment with sensitive and confidential information.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
As Administrator, you will provide technical and administrative support related to a variety of areas. Strong integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality is key to the success of the position.

An important part of the position includes active searching for continuous improvement to simplify ways of working and improve efficiency. With your energy and by being prestige less you add value to your customers and ensure their continuous focus on the business.

You will:

• Drive and ensure administrative support to senior leaders and/or project teams.
• Books travel for employees in a consistent and compliant way.
• Communication, coordinating and managing function specific activities and projects
• Adopt administrative continuous improvement activities
• Maintain and develop expertise in appropriate IT systems to ensure efficient use and provide expertise and support to resolve time consuming queries
• Create and maintain excellent relationships and networks at the Gothenburg site and globally within selected areas
• Work collaboratively with Global Colleagues to deliver a lean, consistent and professional global administration service to GMD customers
• Take responsibility for the deployment of new processes within the team and act as a role model providing guidance and on-the-job coaching to team colleagues
• Lead the practical arrangements and contribute to the preparations of internal and external meetings

Essential Requirements

• At least five (3) years of experience working in an administrative support capacity
• Demonstrated advanced proficiency across a broad range of administrative processes and procedures
• Excellent organization skills and the ability to manage multiple projects or tasks simultaneously and efficiently, identifying high priority and urgent tasks for immediate action so that all activities are completed accurately and on time
• Provide a high quality, professional support service, working proactively and independently without day to day direction
• Able to challenge the status quo, think beyond boundaries of own role and act upon opportunities to work more effectively and seek opportunities for continuous improvement
• Excellent team working, networking and influencing skills to develop solutions
• Familiar with a variety of virtual meeting technologies, information management software, and Microsoft products as MS Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint and other web-based systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Swedish

About the employment
For this assignment, you will be employed as a consultant by Adecco. The assignment will start immediately and initially to 2019-06-30
