JOB DESCRIPTION
Axis Logistics team has the main responsibility for movements and Customs from our different configuration centres located both within EU, Asia and America. Your role as our Administrator will be to accurately handle and enter data both related to Axis Imports and Exports in addition to checking validity of this data as required.
You will also support the local Customs/Logistics team in relation to administration requirements as necessary and be responsible to archive all documents as related to our Customs compliance requirements.
Other responsibilities will include:
• Filing and maintaining import and export records and other logistics records.
• Scanning data received from suppliers and archiving data both electronically or physically.
• Downloading documents and saving them on our computer system for easy access and future reference.
• Maintain a file Log on Excel and update as required daily with new data being received to support imports and exports from all our CLCs.
• Support the local team with answering questions received within the department mailbox as related to Customs issues.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a structured and detail oriented individual with a completed high school and/or University with a good background in Mathematics and or Economy. You are able to handle multiple tasks at once and being able to prioritize based on deadlines. To thrive in this position we think you have strong computer skills and are comfortable to work with numbers and you are naturally analytical.
As teamwork is crucial for Axis as a whole and for the Logistics team we believe it's important that you can contribute to a good and productive work environment, working with and supporting your co-workers toward success.
Furthermore we believe you:
• Have good knowledge of written and spoken English
• Are comfortable using Microsoft Office package and specifically Excel
• Know how to operate basic office equipment such as a scanner, photocopier
• Have excellent communication skills
