hela Sverige Perido is now looking for an Administrative Assistant for our client, an independent and important agency of the European Union. This position is placed at their office in Stockholm.
As an Administrative Assistant you will take on a wide-ranging and exciting role to support and provide administrative and clerical assistance in the agency's processes and work flows. Your workday offers various tasks and responsibilities, including:
Task 1: Drafting letters and editing documents.
Task 2: Preparing the administrative part of meetings, organising business trips including invitations, reimbursements and follow ups for external participants.
Task 3: Participation at country assessment missions to provide administrative assistance.
Task 4: Give support to the International Relations Officer managing external grants and assessment projects including financial monitoring.
To be successful and enjoy this role you need organisational and administrative skills; basic knowledge of procurement/financial workflows is favourable. We believe that you have an eye for details, can make suggestions and improvements and take initiative in your work. It is essential that you have the ability to work under pressure and prioritising your work accordingly, as well as manage responsibilities with a high-level of discretion while handling confidential information. We believe that you have an excellent service mindset and excellent communication skills.

Required qualifications
• Post-secondary education and relevant professional experience
• Proven experience as an administrative assistant/secretary, preferably in a multicultural working environment
• Excellent skills in preparing correspondence and other documentation
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Good numeral skills and experience using spreadsheets, tables of figures and basic financial planning skills
• Knowledge of EU procedures including finance and procurement as well as experience in working with non EU countries
• Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written
Contract type and hours
Full time assignment, start as soon as possible until the 31st of December, with possible extension.
