hela Sverige We are currently looking for an Operations Manager to Adient's plant in Gothenburg.
About the role
Adient is one of the leading manufacturers of automotive seating. They are currently looking for an Operations Manager to their plant in Gothenburg. As Operations Manager you are responsible for all employees in production, maintenance and internal materials management. Including all the temp employees there are a total of 750 people at this plant.
In this position you report to the Plant Manager and you are part of the management team. Your responsibility includes f.i.:
• Leading and monitoring employees in order to guarantee Just In Time (JIT) production
• Process and implement production-oriented projects and recommend new procedures and processes to improve quality, quantity and to reduce production cost.
• Service buildings, technical equipment, outside facilities
• Client contacts
• Internal material provision
• Consult daily with other departmental heads in order to ensure smooth work sequences in all shifts
• Set priorities for servicing and maintenance to ensure imployees and machines operate effectively
• Budget management
Qualifications
We are looking for a leader who is trustworthy and experienced leading through other leaders. You successfully manage to inspire the employees through your leaders and thus create a continous improving atmosphere in the plant. Furthermore it is essential that you are used proiritizing the work in a JIT-environment to secure the client requirements are met. Furthermore you have:
• University degree within engineering
• Many years experience as manager in a production environment
• Fluent Swedish and English, both written and spoken
• Management team experience
