The controls team at AVL in Sweden is developing control systems for customers both in Sweden and globally. The development activities range between complete systems development to system analysis and development of single software components. Projects cover engine development from conventional vehicles via hybrid technologies to pure electric vehicles. We are also covering new technologies such as autonomous drive and security.

AVL Gothenburg is growing a new ADAS team, and as a member of the team you will be both participating in developing cutting edge technology, and also part of a new, young and vibrant team. ADAS covers areas such as perception and feature detection, with many exciting areas such as machine learning, vision and sensor fusion.

Your responsibilities (depending on background):
Analyze and develop system requirements for ADAS systems
Implement new functionality in simulated environments and vehicle prototypes (LKA, LCA,
Test functionality in both simulated and real environments
Actively participate in ADAS communities within AVL
Communication with suppliers and customers

Your background
M.Sc.,/B.Sc./PhD within the areas of physics, mechatronics, electronics, robotics or similar
For some positions 5 years of experience is required
Experience from machine learning, vision, sensor fusion, route planning, localization/mapping or similar areas
Experience from verification of embedded systems (xIL)
Solid background or understanding of automotive industry
Swedish B driving license
Fluent in English and preferably Swedish
