TeliaSonera Group IT support users in TeliaSonera Group by providing simple and easy to use business applications and network services, telephone and IT services, conferencing and collaboration tools, help and support, in a safe work environment in the office, at home or on travel. Group IT Workplace Services deliver group common solutions to approximately 20.000 users in the Nordic and Baltic countries. The Service Strategy & Operational Excellence function is responsible for various areas including Strategic Business Architecture Management, Tactical Vendor Management, Business Process Management, Service Portfolio Management, Service Catalog Management and Performance Excellence Management.
Diversity Challenge offers academics a full time paid internship of 6 months at TeliaSonera with start in February 2014. You will have the opportunity to work with Group IT Workplace Services regarding a process development project for Order & Delivery Life Cycle related to the WS Services provisioned in Sweden, Finland, Norway & Denmark. Your task is to assist in driving and coordinating the implementation of improvement actions identified.
More specifically, your tasks will include:
• Maintaining the list of identified improvement actions and report progress
• Coordinate the implementation of approved improvement actions
• Capture, document and evaluate new improvement actions/user requirements (based on survey results, feedback, complaints.
• Identify user-communication needs related to the implementation
• Track, test and measure the result of the implemented improvements
YOUR PROFILE
You are a graduate in the field of Engineering or IT (computer science) with preferable but not required, few years of relevant work experience. You possess a technical knowledge with the ability to comprehend functional and usable needs from a user perspective. You are driven, result oriented, analytical and a confident team-player, with good communication skills and a service oriented mind-set.
In addition it is beneficial to have:
• Knowledgeable in the field of process development
• Be familiar with Quality assurance, GUI testing, Performance Indicators/Measurements and User Experience/Satisfaction.
• Competent within project coordination
• Experienced in hosting online meetings (e.g. Using Lync)
• Structured and quality oriented
• Fluent in English
