About the jobDC Lund operates in a global environment within the product group Parts. Alfa Laval's Distribution Centre (DC) in Lund supply components to heat exchangers within a defined range, at the right quality to a competitive price and according to agreed deadlines and deliveries. We are a process oriented organization with a global focus and local presence. We work in line with Alfa Laval Production System (ALPS) following the four priorities Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
As a Unit Manager you will be part of DC Lund's management team and lead a team of 10. You ensure that the group is working towards set targets and follow our processes. Main purpose of the job is to develop and coordinate the unit. You will be responsible for securing that the unit meets short- to mid-term goals and customer expectations. Actively work with operational interfaces, communicate and coordinate. You will be responsible for the performance and output of the unit including financial responsibility.
What you knowYou have a technical education and proven experience in leadership from similar job as well as knowledge of:
Experience with improvement tools, e g 5S, Lean Six Sigma, KaizenGood computer skills
Fluency in Swedish and English
Project management experience
If you're a green/black belt it's an advantage.
